First we got a blue ice cream box, then we use a cup of water to cover the grow mat. Then we use the cup fill with water. Then we put seeds in the cup fill with water. Then we got a spoon to spin the seeds in the water. We had to spin it for 5 mins then we use the spoon and plant them. there was me Joseph Kaitiaki and Tai.

 This is my plane it has lots of guns and it has sixteen people to fly this plane and lots of gas so it won't run out of gas. It takes 2 pilots to fly this b-17 plane its called the little bell.

Our group was Kaitiaki, Joseph and Tai. We had to wear coloured vests and we 

had to wear safety glasses too. Our rocket went wonky in the air and it went about 10m. Our PSI was 60 and our water level was 400ml. One group did 50 psi and 400ml.

They put the fins on too. Their one went really high.It didn't go forward, it went in reverse backwards. We noticed the rockets go further when they have fins.

Job research card

I like lego so I would love to be the kid creative director for them. I would make cool ads for them. The job also pays $10,000 so I would love that. I would make cool designs for lego. I wwould make Kingdom of Hearts lego. I would make Among Us lego.

Sail cars

Tai and Kaitiaki are in my group. Firstly we cut out the cardboard for the base and than I had to get 4 pieces of milk cap bottles for the wheels. I had to get 1 toothpick and a skewer for the wheels. Then Tai did the sail and decorated the sail and it was called s.s a o for annoying orange sail car.  The good thing that was it didn't fall because some other sail cars fell but ours didn't because we used strong orange paper. The bad thing was it kept going to the left. That was so bad, I hope we can fix that. 1 day when the races start some people try to beat the opponent and I will try to race them.

How to see under water!

 This is my design I drew it was fun. I used color pencils. Our challenge was to design something that we could use to see under the water. My design uses a clear bowl with handles to hold. Through the clear bowl, you will be able to see schools of fish, starfish and plants and where the fish live.

Scratch Creation

Today we got challenged to make a scratch comic, using coding. What we had to do was pick a superhero and make a story about it doing certain things. Our superhero was a guide dog for blind people. We had to make the guide dog do certain things. Some of the things were a starter project in which we got the dog to guide a lady across a road. The next activity was show off with a super spin. What you had to do for that one was the dog had to do a spin in the road. The next one was it had to fly over buildings, but our dog couldn’t fly over buildings so we just made it cross a road again because it was a guide dog and doesn’t fly over buildings. Neatly was you had to add background music. Then you had to support your hero. By doing that you would just add in another character. There was also keeping the score by creating a game by programming your hero to collect objects. The last one is draw your own hero, and what you had to do was use the paint editor in scratch and make your own hero. Scratch was a really fun activity and maybe one day you could try it for yourself.

Making Ink Traps

Last week , we made lnk tracking tunnels to see what pests we have at school .

Equipment 

. 1 sponge

. peanut butter

. Food colouring for ink

. Cardboard

. 2,x empty 2litre milk cartons

Making the trap

. white paper

steps 

1. cut the ends of the milk boltles.
-save 1 to hold the sponge

2. join the two milk boltles together.

3.wrap them with black plastic .

4. put a piece of white paper inside.

5.put food colouring on the sponge and a blob of peanut butter.

6. Put the tunnel in a outdoor space to see what happens.


When we checked our trap, the pests had stolen the sponge! We replaced it, and they stole it again!!! Other traps showed rat and mice footprints, and poop! They also chewed the sponges.
