4. put a piece of white paper inside.

5.put food colouring on the sponge and a blob of peanut butter.

6. Put the tunnel in a outdoor space to see what happens.

When we checked our trap, the pests had stolen the sponge! We replaced it, and they stole it again!!! Other traps showed rat and mice footprints, and poop! They also chewed the sponges.

dog looking at a book about food

The dog was cute.
Wearing glasses makes the dog smart.
Thoughtfully, he is reading a book about food.
He can cook a delicious pizza with sauce and black olives and cheese on it.

Today in science we made elephant toothpaste.

1. The first step was to pour hydrogen pyroxide into a bottle.

Planting

Yesterday the class planted kowhai seeds. We had to roughen the seed with sand paper. We put the soil  pod in water and mixed them. Then we put our finger in the soil and made a space for the seed. WE put seed in and covered it with soil.

Joseph's Word Cloud

Joseph's class were set a challenge to create a word cloud all about them. Joseph and his family came up with these words to describe himself and the things that make him happy! He then chose this awesome emoji as the background for his word cloud. If you would like to make your own word cloud you can make yours at www.wordart.com/create
